Narrative:
MTR X was cleared to point B (entry fix to ir-066). The controller at columbus RAPCON misunderstood the instructions and issued clearance into the route. The student pilot did not make initial contact at point B as required. Repeated attempts to call were made on 243.0 with no response. The first contact with center was made at point D, approximately 10 mins into the route.

Title: CTLR MISTAKENLY ISSUED CLRNC INTO IR ROUTE RATHER THAN TO THE ENTRY POINT, RESULTING IN UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.
Narrative: MTR X WAS CLRED TO POINT B (ENTRY FIX TO IR-066). THE CTLR AT COLUMBUS RAPCON MISUNDERSTOOD THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ISSUED CLRNC INTO THE ROUTE. THE STUDENT PLT DID NOT MAKE INITIAL CONTACT AT POINT B AS REQUIRED. REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO CALL WERE MADE ON 243.0 WITH NO RESPONSE. THE FIRST CONTACT WITH CENTER WAS MADE AT POINT D, APPROX 10 MINS INTO THE ROUTE.
