Narrative:
Forecast winds were 310/20. Upon arrival found winds 320/13g22. Calculated crosswind and found the best runway to be 29 with a crosswind component of 14 knots with gust. While the type data certificate sets no crosswind limit; the manufacturer suggest 14 knots. Set up a for a half flaps approach. Performed a wheel landing. On rollout as the tail came down wind gusted. Despite full aileron and opposite rudder aircraft weathervane into the wind attempts to correct were not successful. The airplane nosed over and caught the left wing tip on the way down.
