Narrative:

Myself and my father left new hudson and flew south to do touch and go's at willow run. We called tower at 10 mi north and were told to use runway 23R right traffic, and report 1 mi north. We reported 1 mi north, then entered the downwind. On downwind, tower told us to make a left 360 degree turn. We did. Next on downwind, tower told us to identify. We did. We started our turn from base to final and tower told us to make a left 360 degree turn again. We started our 360 degree turn, but met another aircraft, who was on a long final approach. The other aircraft dove under us and landed. We finished our 360 degree turn and did our touch and go. The tower had lost track of who was who in the traffic pattern. He was very busy.
