Narrative:
Enroute both captain and first officer ipads would not access the jepp charts for the destination. When the destination was selected the jepp app would crash. I consulted with dispatch and decided to activate an [airline wifi] account to receive emailed charts from dispatch. Dispatch sent me required charts for our destination via email. We proceeded to our filed destination and landed normally.I'm not sure what needs to be done to fix the ipad issue.
