Narrative:
While climbing on profile both slats extended without being commanded. Confirmed visually. Complied with checklist. Airplane handled very well throughout entire flight. Decided to divert to a nearby airport; which has long runways and was close to where the event took place. Flaps retracted on their own through FL250. Approach and landing uneventful.

Title: During climb through FL360; M.74 a Falcon 2000 slats extended uncommanded with no abnormal handling characteristics. During descent to a divert airport; the slats retracted at about FL250. An uneventful landing was accomplished.
