Narrative:

After flying for approximately 6 hours, I was called out again to film a live tv shot for a murder case. Being a little tired and caught up in the excitement of the news, I set up for a hover shot of the crime scene. After finishing this job and talking to some other pilots, I realized that I was probably hovering too low for the situation. I would recommend that helicopter pilots pause a moment before setting up a live shot and reflect north the safety of hovering low over a crime scene, remembering that they are not military pilots and that they should have somewhere to land at all times if the engine should quit or an emergency arises.
