Narrative:
I took my plane to an FBO on the field at ontario, for an intermittent mode C transponder. When I took off it was still the same. I set up an appointment to return. I took off from fullerton and landed in the morning for the appointment. They spent considerable time in the plane that day trying to get it to work and ran my battery down. Later that afternoon, they gave me a 'loaner' transponder. When I tried to start the engine my battery was dead. They jump-started with an automatic and I got clearance and took off. On my 1ST attempt to contact ATC, I realized I had lost all electrical and plane wasn't climbing. In retrospect, when I lifted gear probably tripped the alternator and gear did not retract. The alternator was charging during run-up. I had no lights, gauges, etc and an airplane not climbing and was thinking of an engine failure next (looking for a place to situation down). I did land at fullerton with the mechanical indicator saying down. The right main was not locked and collapsed.

Title: PLT OF LIGHT SINGLE ENGINE ACFT LANDS GEAR UP AFTER MAINTENANCE WORK.
Narrative: I TOOK MY PLANE TO AN FBO ON THE FIELD AT ONTARIO, FOR AN INTERMITTENT MODE C XPONDER. WHEN I TOOK OFF IT WAS STILL THE SAME. I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO RETURN. I TOOK OFF FROM FULLERTON AND LANDED IN THE MORNING FOR THE APPOINTMENT. THEY SPENT CONSIDERABLE TIME IN THE PLANE THAT DAY TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK AND RAN MY BATTERY DOWN. LATER THAT AFTERNOON, THEY GAVE ME A 'LOANER' XPONDER. WHEN I TRIED TO START THE ENGINE MY BATTERY WAS DEAD. THEY JUMP-STARTED WITH AN AUTO AND I GOT CLRNC AND TOOK OFF.
