Narrative:
I was performing a test flight after recent maintenance. While circling [the airport] at approximately 2500 feet MSL; the engine ran rough for a brief second. I immediately throttled back and upon realizing that the engine was not developing power; turned off the mag switch. I was on an extended left downwind for runway xy at approximately 1800 feet AGL at this time. I turned off the fuel and preformed a successful on-field landing. Upon examining the aircraft discovered the propeller was missing and no further damage to the aircraft.
