Narrative:
We were a flight of 2. Tower cleared us to enter left downwind for landing on 28R. At midfield downwind; tower cleared the flight to land; number two; behind traffic on short final. When lead was at 400 feet on a close in left base; tower asked flight to extend downwind for landing straight in jet traffic. Lead made a climbing right turn to extend downwind. At some point during this arrival; the second aircraft developed a radio problem and was NORDO; and continued to a landing. Tower told jet traffic to execute a missed approach.
