Narrative:
Flight attendant (flight attendant) informed us that the aft lav smoke detector alarm was sounding. She stated that there was no smoke; fumes; or odors. The only complaint from the passengers was the noise of the alarm. Since there were no indications of a fire; we elected to continue. We looked at the smoke; fire; and fumes checklist in the QRH and decided to follow the guidance in the notes. We pulled the circuit breakers to silence the noise and prevent any possible problems. The other breakers were already pulled and collared. All radios were handled between communications with the fas; and no calls were missed. We closed down the lavatory for the remainder of the flight. We landed with no issues. No emergency was declared; no passengers were injured or complained; and we wrote up the problem and gave the plane to maintenance.
