Narrative:

After landing; tower cleared me to right-turn on taxiway B3; cross taxiway B. At this point the traffic advisory system in the airplane announced 'traffic-traffic' at what I thought was the end of the tower's instructions. I did not realize the last portion of the tower instructions were stepped on. The next transmission I heard from tower was to other aircraft. Tower did not correct my read back. Tower continued to communicate with other aircraft.I read back the instructions as I heard them. 'Right turn B3; cross B' I may have said cross runway; in a moment of distraction in part; due to the TAS advisory and I thought I landed short of the crossing runway; but it was quickly clear that cross taxiway B was said since that was the next intersection ahead of the airplane.I continued to taxi on taxiway C and awaited further instruction. The next transmission to me was tower asking if I was still on tower frequency. They reminded me that I was supposed to contact ground after clearing the runway. Followed by another transmission from tower reciting the rules.I contacted ground and received clearance to parking. They told me to call tower and read off a phone number while I was taxing. I asked to receive the number after parking and they said that would be okay and the FBO would have the number too. I called ground after parking and asked for tower's phone number. While ground was giving me the phone number; the traffic advisory system in the airplane announced 'traffic-traffic' stepping on the transmission. I asked ground to repeat the area code since they were stepped on. Ground asked who stepped on the frequency and I informed them about the traffic alert that I received during their transmission. He recited the phone number again.I called tower immediately after shut down and they requested name; phone number; and pilot number.there were no hazards to persons; aircraft; or other equipment during the event.I plan to contact the local cessna service center to determine if there are any traffic alert settings that can be changed to mitigate a future occurrence.
