Narrative:
Just as I finished my outside preflight and was beginning my aft cabin preflight; the captain came out of the cockpit and said we had an aft cargo fire indication. I went back and saw that the aft cargo door was closed. I came back up and told the captain it was closed. The captain then pushed the flashing discharge light to fire the bottle in the compartment. The captain called the fire department and maintenance; I went back and told the load crew on the other side of the aircraft and directed the fire department to the area of fire indication. They determined it to be a false sensor. The load crew unloaded the aircraft and re-loaded a different aircraft.fire detector in lower aft compartment gave a false fire indication.
