Narrative:

We landed at lga runway 4 and turned off at runway 13 for taxi as instructed by tower and told to contact ground. Ground was talking to other aircraft nonstop, and we couldn't get a word in. We cleared at taxiway left and I held short of inner waiting for ground contact,but I was a bit too close. We finally got ground and were told to give way to an air carrier large transport who was far away. Since I was too close to inner, I requested that I be allowed to taxi to gate in front of air carrier . Ground refused, for no good reason. Large transport missed us, but was much too close. I didn't appreciate the arrogant attitude of lga ground control.

Title: POTENTIAL COLLISION BETWEEN 2 ACR-LGT TAXIING AT VERY CONGESTED ARPT.

Narrative: WE LANDED AT LGA RWY 4 AND TURNED OFF AT RWY 13 FOR TAXI AS INSTRUCTED BY TWR AND TOLD TO CONTACT GND. GND WAS TALKING TO OTHER ACFT NONSTOP, AND WE COULDN'T GET A WORD IN. WE CLRED AT TXWY L AND I HELD SHORT OF INNER WAITING FOR GND CONTACT,BUT I WAS A BIT TOO CLOSE. WE FINALLY GOT GND AND WERE TOLD TO GIVE WAY TO AN ACR LGT WHO WAS FAR AWAY. SINCE I WAS TOO CLOSE TO INNER, I REQUESTED THAT I BE ALLOWED TO TAXI TO GATE IN FRONT OF ACR . GND REFUSED, FOR NO GOOD REASON. LGT MISSED US, BUT WAS MUCH TOO CLOSE. I DIDN'T APPRECIATE THE ARROGANT ATTITUDE OF LGA GND CTL.
