Narrative:
Safety zone lines are not extended far enough at mdw (and other airports). Ground ops regularly parks equipment near the vehicle traffic lanes at mdw. The safety zone lines do not extend far enough to verify the equipment is outside of the lines. At nighttime it is frequently impossible (yes; a valid absolute) to verify the equipment is clear. This is especially relevant with the scimitar winglets.
