Narrative:

I filed an int'l flight plan (VFR) with freeport. The lady at FSS (bahamas) said the flight plan would be activated when I took off. 10 mins after departure I received a frequency change and contacted mia and told them who, what, and where I was, and they couldn't receive me on radar, so they told me to report and monitor another frequency of ZMA. They also said to report to this frequency when I'm off the 020 degree right from west palm beach. When I did this, ZMA didn't know why I was there. They said that I never filed a flight plan with FSS, but I did in freeport. Customs also said they knew I was coming.

Narrative: I FILED AN INT'L FLT PLAN (VFR) WITH FREEPORT. THE LADY AT FSS (BAHAMAS) SAID THE FLT PLAN WOULD BE ACTIVATED WHEN I TOOK OFF. 10 MINS AFTER DEP I RECEIVED A FREQ CHANGE AND CONTACTED MIA AND TOLD THEM WHO, WHAT, AND WHERE I WAS, AND THEY COULDN'T RECEIVE ME ON RADAR, SO THEY TOLD ME TO RPT AND MONITOR ANOTHER FREQ OF ZMA. THEY ALSO SAID TO RPT TO THIS FREQ WHEN I'M OFF THE 020 DEG R FROM WEST PALM BEACH. WHEN I DID THIS, ZMA DIDN'T KNOW WHY I WAS THERE. THEY SAID THAT I NEVER FILED A FLT PLAN WITH FSS, BUT I DID IN FREEPORT. CUSTOMS ALSO SAID THEY KNEW I WAS COMING.
