Narrative:
Smoke in cockpit, used irregular procedures, smoke procedure. Both forward equipment cooling fans burned up, and circuit breaker popped. Obviously, the backup cooling fan did not function as advertised. Our maintenance technicians are researching this problem.

Title: HVT EXPERIENCES FAILURE OF PRIMARY AND BACKUP INSTRUMENT COOLING FANS.
Narrative: SMOKE IN COCKPIT, USED IRREGULAR PROCS, SMOKE PROC. BOTH FORWARD EQUIPMENT COOLING FANS BURNED UP, AND CIRCUIT BREAKER POPPED. OBVIOUSLY, THE BACKUP COOLING FAN DID NOT FUNCTION AS ADVERTISED. OUR MAINT TECHNICIANS ARE RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM.
