Two Q400 flight attendants report separate anomalies on one of their flights. The B flight attendant reports the customer service representative (csr) sending passengers down without asking or informing the crew; and with the lead flight attendant off the aircraft. Narrative:
Upon attempting to open forward passenger door at arrival; door would not open because the handrail pins were incorrectly put in. I think that the pins were incorrectly placed out of the gate on the early morning flight. Better training on the procedures of the Q400.
