Narrative:
Flying over charleston, sc, at FL350, flying outbnd on 215 degree right chs (J79). About 30 mi south ATC asked our heading and arwy. We responded that we showed that we were on the arwy. ATC said we weren't. ATC gave us a heading to rejoin, and when ATC said we were on centerline our #1 navigation showed a 6-8 degree difference. From that point, radios were unreliable and continued flight with headings from ATC. Radios were written in log book as unreliable and repaired at our next stop.
