Narrative:

Zero oil quantity indicated on engine number 2 on climb out. Indication was steady; and temperature was climbing and pressure was falling. Captain retarded throttle to see if indications would change and they did not. Performed engine oil quality low or decreasing non alert checklist. It directs you to the engine shutdown checklist. We completed that procedure. We dumped approximately 70;000 pounds of fuel in that same general area at 17;000. Returned to [departure airport] uneventfully. It was later told to us by maintenance that the fuel/oil heat exchanger had ruptured; sending fuel into the oil case in the engine.
