Narrative:
Climbing through the FL280 we received a cas message indicating we had a right engine fire. We stopped our climb and [advised ATC] and performed our appropriate checklist which lead to an engine shut down. We may have started our descent before we had ATC clearance. On single engine we were not going to be able to hold our altitude. We returned to [departure airport] without incident.
