Narrative:
After block in; the load crew notified the flight crew that the dg container door was not attached to the can when they opened the smoke curtain. Upon discussion with the first officer (who had inspected the dg container in [departure station]); he remembered the dg rep attaching the door to the container while he (the first officer) was ensuring the fire extinguisher hose was correctly attached. No unusual flight conditions enroute; some occasional light turbulence.avoid rushing during this phase of preflight. Do not leave dg can until witnessing all door locks secure and fire extinguisher hose correctly attached.

Title: An Airbus wide body Cargo flight crew reported they were advised upon arrival by ground personnel that the dangerous goods door was not properly positioned for their flight.
Narrative: After block in; the load crew notified the flight crew that the DG container door was not attached to the can when they opened the smoke curtain. Upon discussion with the First Officer (who had inspected the DG container in [departure station]); he remembered the DG rep attaching the door to the container while he (the FO) was ensuring the Fire Extinguisher hose was correctly attached.
