Narrative:
Incident occurred on ramp. I was in plane alone and my engine was running while parked (with parking brakes on; and feet on the brakes). Looked down to figure out departure procedure. My plane rolled forward and hit parked jet. That plane had no occupants and was disabled due to mechanical problems. I shut down and got out of plane to check damage. Incident could have been avoided if clearance had been obtained and determined before starting engine.
