Narrative:
At xa, F/a's called indicating they had misbehavior in rear of aircraft. Later we found it medically related, so a doctor was summoned from passenger. I then went back to cabin to evaluate situation. The doctor indicated the disturbing passenger was calm now and expected her to remain so for duration of flight (1 hour), so we proceeded to destination. Upon arrival, passenger was taken to hospital. This person should never have been boarded, and I feel that the person who boarded her put us all at risk! Later I found that she was undergoing treatment for mental illness, that she grabbed an F/a by the hair and shook her while grabbing and bruising/scratching other passenger. I personally would never have let her on the plane, had I seen her anywhere near the state of agitation in which I did see her! Actually she was ok for the first 2 hours of flight, but just flipped out after 2 hours.
