Narrative:
Aircraft Y flying northbound on a nct sector tag penetrated delta airspace without coordination. Converging traffic advisories issued to aircraft X on hwd frequency on final about aircraft Y converging. Called nct to tell them to turn aircraft Y to the east to clear delta airspace. The controller stated that he had traffic in sight but never initiated a point out to transition through delta airspace nor bothered to call hwd to advise that his aircraft Y had aircraft X in sight. Familiarize nct controllers about point outs prior to entering delta airspace or remain completely clear of it.
Original NASA ASRS Text
