Narrative:
'Cabin altitude' red warning and aural annunciator came on while climbing through 12000 feet. Flight attendant (flight attendant) lead informed us that there was a loud noise and air blowing on the L2 door. We advised ATC and requested lower altitude. Operations and passengers were advised of the situation. QRH procedures were executed successfully. Manual pressurization was kept under control during descent; approach; and landing. Ops was advised to contact dispatch and maintenance control.
