Narrative:
Practicing aborted take offs on runway. The student failed to correct for the simulated aborted takeoff; the student froze and applied rudder only; as the aircraft began yawing towards the grass area the ip took the mixtures and cut both engines and attempted to maintain directional control. The aircraft came to a full stop in the grass area. No damage or injuries noted to the aircraft or the field.

Title: During practice aborted takeoff; aircraft departed the hard surface of the runway and came to a stop in the grass.
Narrative: Practicing aborted take offs on runway. The student failed to correct for the simulated aborted takeoff; the student froze and applied rudder only; as the aircraft began yawing towards the grass area the IP took the mixtures and cut both engines and attempted to maintain directional control. The aircraft came to a full stop in the grass area. No damage or injuries noted to the aircraft or the field.
