Narrative:
We were on a flight from latrobe, PA to albany, GA. The flight seemed perfectly normal to us until the next day when our local FAA office called and said we missed an opp direction air carrier jet Y by 4.2 NM. Both of us were level at 26000'. We were on our initial leg from lbe direct to psk when this occurred. The controller said he vectored us west of course, then cleared us direct to psk, after which we drifted southeast of course, causing the near miss. We were in radar contact the entire time and nothing was said to us. We recall getting several vectors, both to the left and right of course, then being cleared direct to psk. A while later we were given a frequency change to ZDC and called them immediately. Nothing was said to us about traffic by either cle or ZDC. We do not recall doing anything other than normal flying. The controller should have warned us about the traffic, since we were in radar contact. I can think of nothing we could have done differently.

Title: LTT JET AND ACR JET EXPERIENCE LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION. LTT FLT CREW NOTIFIED NEXT DAY BY FAA.
Narrative: WE WERE ON A FLT FROM LATROBE, PA TO ALBANY, GA. THE FLT SEEMED PERFECTLY NORMAL TO US UNTIL THE NEXT DAY WHEN OUR LCL FAA OFFICE CALLED AND SAID WE MISSED AN OPP DIRECTION ACR JET Y BY 4.2 NM. BOTH OF US WERE LEVEL AT 26000'. WE WERE ON OUR INITIAL LEG FROM LBE DIRECT TO PSK WHEN THIS OCCURRED. THE CTLR SAID HE VECTORED US W OF COURSE, THEN CLRED US DIRECT TO PSK, AFTER WHICH WE DRIFTED SE OF COURSE, CAUSING THE NEAR MISS. WE WERE IN RADAR CONTACT THE ENTIRE TIME AND NOTHING WAS SAID TO US. WE RECALL GETTING SEVERAL VECTORS, BOTH TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT OF COURSE, THEN BEING CLRED DIRECT TO PSK. A WHILE LATER WE WERE GIVEN A FREQ CHANGE TO ZDC AND CALLED THEM IMMEDIATELY. NOTHING WAS SAID TO US ABOUT TFC BY EITHER CLE OR ZDC. WE DO NOT RECALL DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN NORMAL FLYING. THE CTLR SHOULD HAVE WARNED US ABOUT THE TFC, SINCE WE WERE IN RADAR CONTACT. I CAN THINK OF NOTHING WE COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY.
