Narrative:
During cruise captain's forward windshield cracked. Complied with all checklists and the QRH. Phone patch to company discussing options we determined that we could continue to our destination. Advised flight attendants; but did not need to advise passengers. We continued to our destination. Upon arrival; lead a flight attendant deployed emergency slide due to not following procedures. No further events.
