Narrative:
Rough landing into runway 01. Reported winds approx. 300 20g30. First officer flew the approach and landing. Challenging approach due to the winds; particularly the gusty conditions from the west. Touchdown with an incomplete flare caused the airplane to bounce and crosswind made it challenging to reestablish landing attitude. Second touchdown was also firm and the nosewheel made immediate contact with the runway. I took control at this point to decelerate for runway exit.
