Narrative:

Uneventful approach and landing. After touchdown; spoilers deployed; aircraft settled onto the runway. As I was manipulating the throttles to engage reverse thrust; the pitch attitude started to increase. I countered the increase with forward pressure on the control column; unfortunately the counter action was not enough; and the tail skid contacted the runway. Pitch attitude at touchdown was approximately 6.6 degrees.
