Narrative:
While preparing for landing at the local airport the front landing gear did not extended. The mains came out as usual and provided 2 green lights but the front light remained red. After pulling the emergency handle the front still did not come out. I notified local traffic of my situation on the local unicom and proceeded to land. The landing was smooth until the nose hit the ground. No injuries; some damage.
