Narrative:
I was given taxi instruction; which I read back. It included a 'hold short of runway xx.' which I read back. In the middle of shutting things down in the cockpit I missed the hold short line and stopped short of the runway. The aircraft in question was overhead already approximately 300 feet. No excuse; I just got busy and missed a hold short. I have well over 20;000 hours; most if it at night flying freight; which involved many multiple landings during night. This is the first time with such an occurrence; hopefully the last. At no time was the other aircraft in any danger from my inaction/action.
