Narrative:
Per checklist [on taxi out] I pushed the takeoff configuration check switch and stated 'checked' on the checklist when asked. Took the runway for takeoff and the spoiler takeoff configuration alarm sounded. I pushed the speed brake handle down and the alarm went out and we continue the takeoff roll. At around 125 kts the alarm sounded again and we were now at a high speed. We rejected the takeoff and pulled off the runway and ran the rejected takeoff checklist and looked at the brake cooling chart. The fire department was called and the brakes were not set. The APU was started and the engines were shut down. The fire department chocked the wheels. We had maintenance look at the airplane and then they towed us to the gate. We called dispatch at the gate and debriefed with maintenance.
