Narrative:
During pushback lost all communication with pilot. Decision made this morning to remove all wired headsets from our standard issued equipment. Unsafe. Never in my 32 years had I ever lost communication with pilot with a hard wire headset. This is the eighth time that I have lost communication with the pilot using the wireless headset in the last 2 months. I have expressed my concerns at great length with many different managers.
