Narrative:

While landing the aircraft [carbon cub]; which is fitted with amphibious floats; a gust of wind at touchdown resulted in the aircraft veering off the side of the runway; and hitting a landing light. There was no damage to the aircraft. Winds in the area and for any airport within 50 miles were all reporting gusting winds; and I had to land for fuel. This was the widest; longest runway available; and there was weather approaching. Winds at the time were reported to be 350@20; gusting to 27. The aircraft ahead of me also left the runway.
