Narrative:
Taxied through taxiway lamp, knocking out lamp and shearing brake line. Aircraft stopped fully on taxiway. S-turned through lamp because light 'island' was not visible out right side of airplane. Expanse of ramp area that was visible indicated no obstructions, since no unpaved areas were visible to the right. Corrective measures: more extreme s-turns to really clear areas to the right, since they are not easily seen from left seat.
