Narrative:
On the second leg of our 3 leg day we were parked [at the] gate in ind. We were pushed back with the tail pointed to the southwest. Push and start were normal. Due to the size of the aircraft we called ground for taxi with the nose of the aircraft pointed to the northeast. Ground gave us a taxi clearance to taxi to 23L. The taxi is very short and the geometry of the ramp does not allow us to see down [the] taxiway. Starting the turn out of the ramp I noticed a cessna citation taxiing at a high rate of speed down [the] taxiway. I stopped the aircraft halfway through the turn and the citation passed under the nose of the aircraft. There was no damage to the aircraft but it was very close to a major accident. When we queried ground control they said it was their mistake. The citation pilot said that he was just complying with his clearance. We continued our taxi and had an uneventful flight.the ground controller forgot about the citation taxiing on [the] taxiway. They should have had the citation stop and wait for us or us not taxi until the citation passed. The high rate of speed that the citation was taxiing at was probably a major contributing factor.the only thing that I think that we as a crew could have done anything different was to have been monitoring ground control earlier. Maybe we would have heard the citation and been able to query ground earlier.
