Narrative:
While back taxiing on runway xy we were given a clearance for takeoff. I made the turn and lined up for takeoff. Transfer of the aircraft was given to my first officer. He pushed the thrust levers up and we were then given a reject clearance from the tower and to return to the ramp per operations. I taxied the aircraft to the ramp and no further info was given. We finally were able to contact ops after multiple attempts. We were told it was for weight and balance. They needed to move approximately 20 bags from the front bin to the aft. Contacted dispatch and load planning and they said station personnel had moved the bags in the computer but not physically. Bags were transferred with no further issues.
