Narrative:
Departing runway xy in ZZZ; doing a flaps 5 takeoff; at rotation speed got a vibration on the aircraft. The vibration was not abnormal for a flaps 5 takeoff; and no other indications were given on the flight deck that something had occurred. Around 70 miles outside of ZZZ the flight attendant called and said a passenger saw something come off the plane on takeoff. We decided to call ZZZ tower to see if they could find anything on the runway; around this same time we got a master caution; related to our number 1 hydraulic system and ran the appropriate checklists. We observed our hydraulic quantity was low on the number 1 side. Center relayed to us that ZZZ had found tire debris on the runway.we contacted dispatch and maintenance and coordinated to land [at an alternate]; and [advised ATC of] a precautionary emergency to land. We briefed the flight attendants on the landing and had them take a look at the other tire. We landed and came to a stop on the runway.
