Narrative:

On a flight from hou to uvalde, tx, I had climbed to 14500' RNAV direct. I was about 50 NM east of uvalde, monitoring ZHU but not in contact with them, when I started a descent into my destination. My course took me through the randolph 2-A MOA. I saw 2 fgt's about 1 mi off my right wing wbound. They passed me by about 2 mi and made a left 180 degree turn back toward me and passed at the same altitude, bout 600' off my right wing. I have flown that route may times before and never saw any traffic, and on that morning I was lazy and didn't contact center for flight following, if I had this would not have happened.

Narrative: ON A FLT FROM HOU TO UVALDE, TX, I HAD CLBED TO 14500' RNAV DIRECT. I WAS ABOUT 50 NM E OF UVALDE, MONITORING ZHU BUT NOT IN CONTACT WITH THEM, WHEN I STARTED A DSCNT INTO MY DEST. MY COURSE TOOK ME THROUGH THE RANDOLPH 2-A MOA. I SAW 2 FGT'S ABOUT 1 MI OFF MY RIGHT WING WBOUND. THEY PASSED ME BY ABOUT 2 MI AND MADE A LEFT 180 DEG TURN BACK TOWARD ME AND PASSED AT THE SAME ALT, BOUT 600' OFF MY RIGHT WING. I HAVE FLOWN THAT RTE MAY TIMES BEFORE AND NEVER SAW ANY TFC, AND ON THAT MORNING I WAS LAZY AND DIDN'T CONTACT CENTER FOR FLT FOLLOWING, IF I HAD THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
