Approximately 80 feet RA experience excessive nose down pitch; auto pilot off; full aft stick; mains touched; aircraft bounced; take off go around (toga) thrust to go around normal landing.appears that auto flight failed near the 'flare mode.'

Title: An A321 flight crew reported that; while performing a validation of the aircraft's Category III auto land system; the flare mode malfunctioned resulting in a firm touchdown and bounce. A go around was initiated; followed by an uneventful landing.
