Narrative:
Upon departure; company and designated evacuation person (a flight mechanic) informed that we comprised three crew; seventeen adult passengers and two infants; all seats occupied and two infants in arms. Company off/on messages indicated 3 crew; 17 pax (the two infants were not included in messages). Upon arrival; PIC and sic made independent count of passengers departing the aircraft and arrived at an adult count of 20. Confronting operations and others; it appeared there was active disinformation [to] facilitate boarding more passengers than the crew would have agreed [to].a domestic flight did not require a passenger manifest. When one was demanded; a list was provided with 17 names.

Title: G550 flight crew were knowingly given an improper count of adult and infant passengers by the aircraft owner in order to accommodate more adult passengers than the crew would have accepted.
