Briefed and reviewed for ILS 23 at gso, but received ATIS late and was informed that the ILS 23 was OTS. Was given the VOR/DME 23 instead. PF did not set obs for new course of 218 degrees, but instead left in ILS course of 232 degrees. Broke out 8 mi from airport for a visibility approach.

Narrative: BRIEFED AND REVIEWED FOR ILS 23 AT GSO, BUT RECEIVED ATIS LATE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE ILS 23 WAS OTS. WAS GIVEN THE VOR/DME 23 INSTEAD. PF DID NOT SET OBS FOR NEW COURSE OF 218 DEGS, BUT INSTEAD LEFT IN ILS COURSE OF 232 DEGS. BROKE OUT 8 MI FROM ARPT FOR A VIS APCH.
