Engine roughness, carburetor heat applied, mixture adjusted. Before roughness fuel selector switched from near empty right to left. Switched due to faulty indicator.

Title: VERY ABBREVIATED REPORT SPEAKS TO A FORCED LNDG DUE TO ENGINE FAILURE THAT WAS APPARENTLY RELATED TO A FAULTY FUEL QUANTITY INDICATOR THAT CAUSED THE PLT TO SWITCH FUEL TANKS AND SUBSEQUENTLY LED TO FUEL STARVATION.
Narrative: ENG ROUGHNESS, CARB HEAT APPLIED, MIXTURE ADJUSTED. BEFORE ROUGHNESS FUEL SELECTOR SWITCHED FROM NEAR EMPTY RIGHT TO LEFT. SWITCHED DUE TO FAULTY INDICATOR.
