Narrative:
Depart hotel at xa:00 for a xb:00 pushback. As usual; no breakfast available at hotel. In airport terminal (xa:20 local) the only food type vendors open [is] a coffee stand that had coffee only. No food; no muffins; no doughnuts; etc. No breakfast; hot or cold; not even the laughable frozen solid crew meal that typically is offered/presented at the time of closing the fwd cabin door and yet the two of us are expected to do a 2+ hour flight; then be at the top of our game for a CAT III 600 RVR at destination! Really? Though I have used this particular flight/pairing; these conditions/events are common/typical on every trip. The company's hypocrisy is demonstrated on within [a company publication]; the human physiology chapters of sleeping and eating [within] a consistent agenda; being 'fit for duty'. Before even pushing back from the gate; we are 'in the red'. We are responsible for the lives/safety/wellbeing of 150+ persons; to deliver them and crew safely/alive/intact. Yet we are expected to rise under many different time zones; perform standard/optimum; no breakfast/food. 'Avoiding recurrence of this event'; well; the construction of pairings; the company's mindset of crew accommodations/rest/meals availability; all would have to improve significantly.
