Narrative:

I failed to announce 'prepare for landing' for F/a's to complete cabin duties and be seated at their stations for the landing. Marginal WX and wind preoccupied my attention. When F/east realized the open item on checklist, we were below 1000' AGL, so he reasoned the passenger announcement had been made, so said nothing.

Narrative: I FAILED TO ANNOUNCE 'PREPARE FOR LNDG' FOR F/A'S TO COMPLETE CABIN DUTIES AND BE SEATED AT THEIR STATIONS FOR THE LNDG. MARGINAL WX AND WIND PREOCCUPIED MY ATTN. WHEN F/E REALIZED THE OPEN ITEM ON CHKLIST, WE WERE BELOW 1000' AGL, SO HE REASONED THE PAX ANNOUNCEMENT HAD BEEN MADE, SO SAID NOTHING.
