Narrative:
Before boarding we had a fuel leak that the mechanics eventually fixed. We took off and I could smell something minor but figured it had to do with the fuel leak. On descent while strapped into our jumpseats; a foul heavy odor occurred so bad that I had to cover my mouth and nose with my sleeve. I looked over at the flight attendant sitting at 3R and she was doing the same. Several passengers asked me what the odor was and were covering their noses as well. I tried to answer them but began to cough. My eyes stung and my throat burned. We then landed and deplaned and proceeded to the front where we exchange the same information with the crew. 5 of us went to the urgent care in the airport. All they did was give me eye drops for my eyes; benadryl for my throat; and advil for my headache. This aircraft was flown again a couple of days later and the same thing happened to the crew. I have continued to work but have felt fatigued and [am] experiencing vertigo.
