Narrative:
Arriving into abq under night visual conditions for runway 26; a momentary emergency ground proximity warning system (egpws) terrain caution (alert) was produced by the aircraft.as pilot flying (PF) we descended via the Lobow3 RNAV runway 26 transition where we then accepted a vector towards the airport; then were cleared for the visual for 26. We began a right traffic downwind for 26 descending to traffic pattern altitude of 2000' AGL. The egpws caution was received as we were making our downwind to right base turn 4 nm from the 26 threshold. We verified the airplane flight path and paused the descent. The caution ceased and the approach was [completed] uneventfully.
