Narrative:
Max payload takeoff. Flight plan showed landing with 5.8 fuel. During the flight; time and fuel was right on with the how goes it; until half way when headwinds were more than planned; we descended with moderate turbulence and destination started landing to the east. All of which took more fuel. The safest course of action at that point was to notify dispatch and make a fuel stop which is what we did.
