Narrative:
I had air carrier X filed on a route north and west from the line of thunderstorms. ATC re-routed the flight into the north end of the line of weather.I also had air carrier Y filed on a route away from an area of forecast large transport ocnl mdt FL350-FL400. ATC re-routed the flight into that area.ATC does not take into account why the flight was routed off the standard airways routing. The practice of re-routing flights prior to takeoff when no ATC program is active and putting aircraft into areas of convective activity or forecast moderate turbulence is usurping the dispatcher's authority to keep the aircraft safe.
